  • Accomplishments:
The Cuba AIDS Project has taken great pride in moving forward both as a humanitarian organization and an ambassador of good will between the citizens of the United States and Cuba. Some of our accomplishments to date have been:

  • - To effectively bring needed medications to combat opportunistic diseases to the HIV/AIDS patients of Cuba.
  • - To bring with us symposium participants who can make direct contact with the patients. The travelers include counselors, translators, nurses and those with a true interest in helping the people of Cuba.
  • - To bring with us the financial resources needed to maintain the original mission of the Cuba AIDS Project and to expand those services to other provinces. Those services include: maintaining the resources to serve more that 400 meals monthly in Havana; buying items for independent AIDS groups such a washing machines and refrigerators; providing clothes and other resources for outpatient families.

  • We are a New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation as well as a Federal 501c3 Nonprofit Corporation. We are hopeful that in the forthcoming years, this will give us the ability to solicit grants, corporate and independent donations and other opportunities in order to strengthen our resources for the future of the project.
